Designer´s Biography is an interactive website as a map. All the professional stages in the career of a designer can be visualised and recorded. You can match different careers and compare them: It could inspire young designers in their own career planing but could also be used as a tool to find colleagues. The landscape is divided into four different fields. Each field represents a field of design profession. The top left hand field presents design as a field of applied arts like graphic, product and media production in small or big agencies or even self employed. The field in the top right hand side shows the designer as publisher, agent and consultant. At the bottom left the field presents the designer as an artist, at the bottom right the field shows the designer as a researcher and academic. This graphic is the interface of the software tool for designers to visualize their biography.
